The Expanse Is Officially Switching Genres In 2027

Based on the novels of the same name, The Expanse took us to a future where humanity had successfully colonized the Solar System. With the story following a group of spacefarers who must unravel a conspiracy by playing themselves at the very center of it, they must do what it takes to stop it disrupting the peace and bringing forth an alien technology that could bring about the end of existence itself.

Following the success of the original novel series, The Expanse was soon turned into a television series courtesy of Syfy, before it was canceled after just three seasons. However, after being picked up again by Amazon, a further three seasons aired, with the hit sci-fi show coming to an end back in 2022.

By the 24th century, humanity has conquered the cosmos. However, life has remained anything but easy. In The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, a story-driven sci-fi Action RPG, you play as a Pinkwater Security mercenary whose brief shore leave on the asteroid Eros spirals out of control. Trapped in a deadly lockdown and drawn into a solar system-wide conspiracy far beyond your control, you’ll have to adapt, survive, taking command of the most advanced ship in the whole of the solar system.

In The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, you will have the opportunity to create and customize your very own captain and lead a ragtag crew of highly skilled specialists on a mission against deadly enemies, political tension, and people who would like nothing more than to see you dead.

In the fractured world of The Expanse, you will get to visit some iconic locations such as Ganymede, Ceres, Mars, and Luna. With each location offering its very own biome, points of interest, and people, you will be rewarded for exploration.
