Summer Outfit Math | Cup of Jo

Summer Outfit Math | Cup of Jo

We are officially four days into summer, and the boys have already devoured lime, mango, and strawberry popsicles. (In for a penny, in for a pound, as my dad always says.) I’ve also been noticing fun street style — including bright colors and glossy nails — and here are a few outfit combos to consider as the weather warms up…

1. Blue stripes + white pants = the forever Cup of Jo uniform. I love these stripes and linen pants with patch pockets, along with fun accessories, like a mesh bag or jelly slides (plus, a bonus for all readers: Get 20% off at Anthro with code JOANNA20).

2. White tee + block-print pants. Block prints, like this green and pink, feel so breezy and cool all summer. And how cute is this red and navy combo?

3. Black and white dress = effortlessly chic for romantic dinners and trips. Loving these three: silk, gingham, square neck.

4. White top + white bottom. Soooo pretty, especially with pintuck details and strappy sandals that wrap up your ankles. Here’s the skirt and shorts (JOANNA20 gets you 20% off at Anthro).

5. Scallops + flip flops = a playful mix of feminine and sporty. (mini skirt; midi skirt)

6. Actually, flip flops with…everything. I keep spotting these sleek ones on women around town, and apparently they have a padded footbed for comfort on long walks and adventures. I’ve had great luck with this easy $34 pair, too.

Thoughts? What pieces are you pairing these days? Also, would you wear this bra T-shirt? I actually kind of love it. 🙂

P.S. A summery Week of Outfits with Dr. Shirlene Obuobi, and the cutest jewelry DIY.
