Marcus Rashford scored a sublime free-kick inside the opening 10 minutes to give Barcelona an early lead in El Clasico and move the LaLiga leaders ever closer to a second successive title.
Barca require just a point to be confirmed Spanish top-flight champions and they were well on their way against their fierce rivals Real Madrid courtesy of a wonder strike from the England international.
Ferran Torres was bundled over by Antonio Rudiger on the edge of the Real Madrid box barely nine minutes into the clash at the Nou Camp.
Rashford stepped up and curled in a screamer into the top corner to give Thibaut Courtois no chance and give Hansi Flick’s side the early lead.
It was an advantage that was soon extended when, just nine minutes later, Torres was put through by an audacious Dani Olmo flick before sending the ball expertly around Courtois.
It was a dream start for Flick – who led the team out despite the death of his father – with Barca aiming to lift the LaLiga trophy in El Clasico for the very first time.
