Porto to land Kiwior
Football Transfer Centre

Porto reportedly expect to sign Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior on loan with an obligation to buy in the next 72 hours.

The Poland international has been a back-up centre-back behind William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes for the Gunners.

However, he has fallen further down the pecking order this campaign with summer signing Cristhian Mosquera preferred ahead of him.

Kiwior is now eyeing a permanent move away from the London giants and Ben Jacobs claim that Porto are pushing for him.

Porto have been discussing terms with Arsenal since the start of the month and they are optimistic of sealing a deal very soon.

Arsenal are holding out for at least £26 million for the 25-year-old, who has developed into a consistent central defender.

Porto are likely to seek a discount on the final price. They could compensate for the same by including a sell-on clause.

Aside from Kiwior, Reiss Nelson and Fabio Vieira are poised to depart the Gunners as well before the transfer window closes.
