PlayStation Plus has offered up some great gaming discounts and promotions this year, including day-one releases and new free trials of popular games. However, there’s another freebie being offered up to PS Plus subscribers as 2025 comes to a close.

Over on Reddit, user d6thegamer has pointed out that PS Plus members can get 3 months of Apple Music for free. Considering that the standard Individual plan for Apple Music costs $10.99 per month, that makes the deal worth over $30, which is actually pretty nice. However, in order to get the promo, you’ll need to follow a few steps.

PS Plus Members Can Get Apple Music For Free Right Now

There are a few caveats to claiming this promo. The price will vary depending on whether you’ve had an Apple Music plan before (as well as what kind of plan you previously purchased). Some users reported PS Plus’ Apple Music promo wasn’t free, but was heavily discounted. Others noted that a previous plan dictated how long their trial was, with not everyone getting a full 3 months.

In order to get free Apple Music through PlayStation Plus, you’ll need to have an Apple account and follow these steps:

• Go to the Apple Music app from the PS5’s search bar
• Alternatively, you can find Apple Music in the All Apps part of Media
• Download the Apple Music app if you don’t have it already
• Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions
• Sign in with your Apple account and redeem the offer

If you currently have an Apple Music subscription, or are already using a free trial, then it also doesn’t appear to work. You may see the offer via PS Plus, but it doesn’t seem like you can redeem it after signing in.

Three Months Of Apple Music Isn’t Usually Cheap

This is a pretty solid deal, no matter what you’re offered. Student plans run fairly cheap at $5.99/month, but Individual plans are $10.99/month and Family plans are $16.99/month. Getting up to three months for free is great, but even if you’re offered one of the lesser deals, one or two months of free Apple Music is better than nothing, and a discount down to $2 or $3/month is still better than paying full price.

PlayStation Plus members have gotten a lot of great deals this year, from more games than usual in December to non-gaming freebies like this one. If you don’t have Apple Music already, then take advantage of the promo while it lasts.
