There’s something really nice about getting to the end of a long day and turning on Animal Crossing: New Horizons to tend to your island and interact with those who call it home. The lack of pressure makes it one of the most relaxing things you can do in the world of video games, and thousands of players still log in every day to recapture that feeling.
Happily, the developer has continued to release new items and cosmetics for players to accumulate over the years, and there are literally more options than anyone could ever feasibly use. Now, some more items have come along, and it’s a drop you’ll absolutely want to be aware of if you’re a fan of another iconic gaming franchise.
As first reported by Go Nintendo, Splatoon Raiders is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23, and the developer has released a bunch of themed cosmetics into Animal Crossing: New Horizons to celebrate. Specifically, there are two items available in the Squid Tanktop and a Smallfy Fan, which can be claimed from Nintendo’s official Dream Island, or you can enter their ID codes at the Able Sisters’ shop.
The codes you’ll need to claim the items are as follows:
- Dream Address: DA-6382-1459-4417
- Author ID: MA-6818-1746-6029
- “Squid Tank Top”: MO-5MR7-BQM4-891L
- “Smallfry Fan”: MO-RF23-CBM7-CWJN
The fun doesn’t stop there though, as fans who manage to get their hands on a Splatoon Raiders Amiibo can scan it to pick up some special Splatoon-themed furniture. You can also preview the furniture if you’re yet to buy the Amiibo via Ninten Island, just in case that helps you to make a decision beforehand.
There has also been plenty going on in July in Animal Crossing more generally, with the latest fishing tourney proving to be a success for all the players that logged in to give it a go. At the same time, we also have a Bug-Off to look forward to on the fourth Saturday of this month, which falls on July 25.
With all of this going on, it’s easy to forget that Nintendo is probably planning on dropping a new game in the Animal Crossing series over the next couple of year. While a reveal in 2026 is unlikely, 2027 could well be when they decide to take the leap, so it’s nice that they’re continuing to support the existing game so often while we wait.
