In a sign of its impressive commitment to showcase One Piece from all possible angles, Netflix is poised to roll out the red carpet for its latest spinoff of Eiichiro Oda’s classic, this time animating the events of the live-action series. The latest two-part endeavor features the colorful and inventive spirit of LEGO, lovingly animated by Atomic Cartoons set to release on September 29, 2026. While the series has been on fans’ radars effectively for months by this point, the latest releases continue to signal its approaching release date, with a combo of a new trailer dropped today.

LEGO One Piece is an Original Net Animation (ONA) special adapting seasons 1 and 2 of the live-action One Piece series on Netflix. The series is spun as a tall tale as retold by Usopp of the Straw Hats, featuring the boundless creativity of a LEGO backdrop mixed with the adventurous spirit of One Piece all while Usopp’s crewmates bicker and contest the validity of the story as he tells it. It won’t be the One Piece you remember, but it’ll perhaps be the perfect zany experience befitting such a wild collaboration. In addition to the latest glimpse of LEGO One Piece’s special, Netflix also proudly presented a new poster as the series approaches its release date.

Netflix’s New One Piece Series Drops Latest New Teasers

Featuring the voices of the live-action One Piece series, LEGO One Piece is teasing an authentic, abridged retelling of the Netflix series’ first season, entirely rebuilt brick-by-brick with a LEGO aesthetic. Rather than seeing it as a recap though, fans can expect the usual absurdity and creative prop comedy that enhances any LEGO collaboration worth its salt, perfectly worthy as a retelling by a man who’d go on to become infamous for balloon hammers confidently swung as if weighing anywhere from five to 100 tons. LEGO One Piece is scheduled for release on Netflix on September 29, 2026, and it’ll be truly thrilling to see such a loose adaptation while still in the precise spirit of the original series.
