Mickey Lee’s HOH Reign & Fascinating Facts (SPOILERS)

WARNING! THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS ABOUT BIG BROTHER 27!Big Brother week 4 Head of Household (HOH) Mickey Lee is a fascinating person, and there’s a lot to know about her amid her game-changing HOH reign. During the Big Brother 27 week 2 HOH competition, Mickey found the HOH Interrogation power, which allowed her to dethrone any HOH before Jury, as long as they didn’t discover her identity after they questioned all of the houseguests.

During Big Brother 27 week 4, Mickey decided to activate the HOH Interrogation power when she heard that Rylie Jeffries, who’d won the HOH competition, was planning to nominate her for eviction. After the interrogation, Rylie thought that it was Ashley Hollis who had the power, and so Mickey overthrew him and became the next HOH.

Mickey originally nominated Rylie, Keanu Soto, and Kelley Jorgensen for eviction, with Keanu as her target. However, Keanu won the Power of Veto, so Mickey had to name a replacement nominee. She shockingly chose her own Triple Threat alliance member, Jimmy Heagerty, in the first blindside of the season.

Mickey nominated Jimmy because she and Morgan Pope, the third Triple Threat member, felt that he’d excluded them from his decision-making during his week 2 HOH, and also that he was working with both sides of the house. As Mickey continues her game-changing HOH reign, shaking up the house with her gutsy moves, here are some fascinating facts to know about her.

Mickey then founded It’s A Date, a date-planning company, which later led to her creating her current business, Mingle Elevated Experiences. She calls Mingle, “the epitome of intentional luxury with thoughtfully curated events that unite Atlanta’s elite in a deliberate pursuit of elevated encounters and meaningful connections. We create unforgettable moments with intention, exclusivity, culture, and style.”

Mickey shared that, when she started her own business, her “number one goal was to create a lane where a girl’s night out, a guy’s night out, a solo night out, and even a date night out could all thrive at a high level in the same space with pure intentionality. My thought process was to create something that didn’t exist, and something the city’s elite desperately needed: Mingle.”

Mickey added that she wanted to give people in Atlanta an alternative to the typical club scene by offering quality and sophisticated experiences. She said, “Every single Mingle experience is curated with the highest level of detail, exclusivity, intentionality, and creativity in mind. Our goal is to continuously bring art, poetry, live music, hand-crafted cocktails, wine pairings, gourmet dining, and more back to the forefront of the city for the grown-ups who want to simply elevate.”

Mickey concluded by saying,I find pure joy in creating one-of-a-kind experiences that people will talk about and revisit for the rest of their lives. Mingle provides a safe space for the city’s most elite to come together and establish long-living connections that might not have been established in other settings.”

Mickey Has A Close Relationship With Her Mom

Mickey has a very close relationship with her mother, and she even credits her with her success. In her interview with Shoutout Atlanta, when asked to whom she wanted to dedicate her shoutout, Mickey chose her mom. She gushed, “I’d like to give a huge shoutout to my amazing mom, who has been an absolute rock in my journey to success.”

Mickey is grateful to her mom for helping her to grow and to start a successful company. She shared, “Her unwavering support, prayers, encouragement, and belief in my capabilities have been instrumental in my growth and the success of my business.”

Mickey concluded by sharing that having her mom as her unconditional cheerleader has kept her going. She said, “She constantly reminds me that I am destined for pure and exceptional greatness. She has never doubted me, even when I have doubted myself. Having her in my corner, cheering me on, has made all the difference. Here’s to my incredible mom, my source of inspiration and motivation!”

Mickey Isn’t A Big Brother Superfan

Mickey Has Only Seen Four Seasons Of The Show Because She’s A Newbie

Although Mickey loves Big Brother, she doesn’t consider herself a superfan of the show. In an interview with Parade, she admitted that, while she remembers some episodes from when she was a kid, she got locked back in again in season 24, and she also learned about the Big Brother 23 alliance, The Cookout.

In a Big Brother Instagram video, Mickey revealed that her four favorite Big Brother seasons are 23, 24, 25, and 26. This is because, “I’m a newbie, but that doesn’t matter.”

Despite the fact that Mickey is a newer Big Brother fan, she does have a few things on her BB bucket list. She said that it’s a must that she plays in OTEV, and she wants to get roasted by Zingbot because she thinks it’s “kind of funny, kind of cute.” Mickey also wants to play in the Hide and Go Veto competition, in which the houseguests hide things in the house and then tear it apart to find the ones belonging to their opponents.

Mickey Is A Fan Of Big Brother 23’s The Cookout

Mickey Was Inspired By The All-Black AllianceJulie Chen posing with The Cookout members on the finale of season 23.

When Parade asked Mickey about her favorite moment in Big Brother history, she answered that the formation of The Cookout was “the most powerful thing I’ve ever seen on Big Brother. The Cookout was the first all-Black alliance. The six-person group included Xavier Prather, Derek Frazier, Azäh Awasum, Kyland Young, Hannah Chaddha, and Tiffany Mitchell, and they all made it to the Final 6. At the end of Big Brother 23, Xavier earned his place as the first Black winner of the show.

Mickey said that it made her proud to see The Cookout achieve so much. She hadn’t thought about being a part of Big Brother at the time, but, in that moment, she “felt proud to see people that look like me doing exceptional things for other people that look like me as well.” Mickey concluded by saying that it was “really cool.”

Mickey has made some bold moves during Big Brother 27 week 4, including activating her HOH Interrogation power to take over Rylie’s HOH, and naming her own alliance member, Jimmy, as the replacement nominee when she felt that she could no longer fully trust him. As Mickey continues to navigate Big Brother 27, she might win the $750,000 grand prize, but, no matter what, she’ll surely continue to be an inspiration to her many fans.
