Man Utd to replace Andre Onana with Portuguese star?

Costa to replace Onana?

Manchester United could reportedly replace Andre Onana with Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa during the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils are preparing for a busy summer of spending and a new goalkeeper could be one of the priorities for manager Ruben Amorim.

Onana has been guilty of making several errors leading to goals and he could be replaced by Costa, who has been a long-term target, as per Record.

United have been linked with the Portuguese star for the last two years and they have started their scouting mission ahead of the next transfer window.

Costa is one of the best modern goalkeepers in the game and he has caught the eye with his shot-stopping, distribution as well as long balls.

He has also excelled with his high claims in the box. He would be an upgrade on Onana, but won’t come on the cheap over the summer.

The 25-year-old has a £64 million release clause in his contract and Porto are unlikely to sanction his sale for anything less later this year.
