View Liverpool transfer targets
Inter Milan have agreed a fee of 45 million euros with Liverpool to sign England international Curtis Jones, according to BBC Sport.
The agreement, reported on August 20, marks a significant step towards Jones leaving Liverpool for Inter. The fee is understood to have been settled between the two clubs, with the Italian side now positioned to complete a deal for the player.
Jones’ proposed move is one of the notable transfer developments of the day, not least because it involves an England international moving between two of Europe’s most high-profile clubs. For Inter, the deal would represent a sizeable investment, with the agreed figure underlining their determination to bring the Liverpool player into the squad.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are set to receive a substantial fee if the transfer goes through on the agreed terms. The 45 million euro valuation reflects the level of interest in Jones and the importance of the negotiations between the clubs.
No further details have been confirmed regarding contract length, personal terms or any possible medical timetable. However, with the clubs having reached an agreement over the fee, the transfer has moved closer to completion.
Jones’ status as an England international adds further profile to the deal, while Inter’s move for him will be watched closely as the transfer window continues. The focus now turns to the remaining steps required before the switch can be formally completed.
If finalised, the move would see Curtis Jones leave Liverpool and join Inter Milan in a 45 million euro transfer.
