Do you know about the GameStop Trade Anything Day? If not, here’s what you’ll want to know to earn a GameStop credit!
Yes, GameStop does trade-ins, however, on December 6th, they’re turning things up. For one day only, it’s Trade Anything Day, and they really do mean almost anything.
Unlike standard trade-ins (where phones, tablets, consoles, and games can earn cash), this event is store credit only. So there will be no cash payouts for your item.
There are just a couple of rules: each person can bring one item, and whatever you trade has to fit inside a 20″ x 20″ x 20″ box.

To help you prepare here is a list of items you cannot trade in:
- Hazardous waste
- Items containing lithium-ion batteries
- Weapons/ ammo
- Animals
- Computers (excluding some MacBooks)
- Printers
- Digital picture frames
- A/V equipment (VCRs, DVD players, DVRs, cable or satellite receivers)
- Gift cards
- Explicit items
- Anything resembling body parts
GameStop hasn’t revealed how they’ll determine credit values yet, but they’ve promised more info as December 6th gets closer.
