Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho has agreed personal terms with Aston Villa ahead of his initial loan move, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Argentine signed for the Blues from Manchester United last summer for £40m. He had a disappointing debut season for the London side.
Chelsea have now agreed to part ways with him. They have accepted an initial loan offer from the Villans with a conditional buy obligation.
Garnacho has already agreed terms and undergone his medical in Birmingham. He could be used as a Villa player in the next 24 hours.
The United graduate has been assured regular playing time on the left wing by manager Unai Emery, who is a big admirer of his qualities.
Emery wanted to sign the 22-year-old prior to his move to the Blues last summer, and Villa’s hierarchy have granted him his wish this time.
Villa could do more business with Chelsea. They are also keen on landing striker Nicolas Jackson, who previously worked under Emery at Villarreal.
