Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez is open to the prospect of joining Real Madrid or Manchester City during the summer transfer window.
The Argentine was one of the standout performers for the Blues last term despite them finishing 10th in the Premier League standings.
Fernandez registered 15 goals and provided seven assists, but his efforts were in vain as the Blues ended the season without any silverware.
Journalist Ben Jacobs now claims that Fernandez is open to a bigger challenge with Madrid, while informal talks have been held with Man City too.
The Blues are adamant that they won’t sanction his sale for a book loss, and it may take at least £100 million to persuade them to allow a transfer.
That would also require Fernandez to submit a transfer request and forego any loyalty bonuses. For now, the midfielder is assessing the situation.
He is fully focused on the World Cup defence with Argentina, and will decide on his future once he returns from the tournament in North America.
