Bitesize Prediction: Yunnan Yukun vs Henan Songshan Longmen – 26/06/25

Competition: Chinese Super League

Market: Goal to be scored in both halves

Odds: 2/3 @ Pribet

Two camps who will be looking to extend on their respective recent flurries, Yunnan will welcome Henan to the Yuxi Plateau Sports Center on Thursday lunchtime.

Starting with the hosts, while Yunnan might have only made their Super League return this season, Jorn Andersen’s men have rightfully received a string of plaudits. Despite slumping to consecutive 3-2 defeats against Dalian Ningbo and Shanghai on either side of opening May, the Yuxi-based outfit have come roaring back in a sensational fashion. Last seen extending on their FA Cup adventure as they clinched a 2-1 victory away at Shaanxi Union, the former Hong Kong boss has seen his high-flying squad come roaring up in the Super League standings. Finding a route into the top-half, Thursday’s hosts will be looking to lay down another marker. In fact, getting May underway with another 2-1 win against Dingnan Ganlian, Yunnan have won four of their previous five appearances across all competitions. It should also be noted, Andersen’s side have registered seven goals in just their last three domestic showdowns in front of their own supporters.

As for the visitors, making an immediate return to winning ways last week as they claimed a pulsating 3-2 victory against Zhejiang Professional, Henan are enjoying their own extended flurry. Despite slumping to a 3-1 loss at the hands of Super League giants Shanghai Port earlier in the month, it appears that was just a minor boost for the Red Devils. Winning three of their previous four appearances across all competitions, Daniel Ramos’ side have also suffered just a single defeat from their last six outings. Getting June underway with another 3-2 victory against Chengdu Rongcheng, Henan have gained a reputation for their lively outcomes. Despite notching at least a par of goals in four of their previous five matchups, the former Rio Ave boss has seen his squad muster just a single clean sheet since the end of February. It should also be noted, seven of Henan’s last eight appearances have finished with over 2.5 goals.

Bet: Goal to be scored in both halves at  Yunnan Yukun vs Henan Songshan Longmen 2/3 for Thursday’s Chinese Super League contest @ Pribet
