The stars of the hit Prime Video series Off Campus broke their silence following rumors that they’re feuding.

Off Campus stars Ella Bright as Hannah Wells and Belmont Cameli as Garrett Graham, characters who cross paths at Briar University and begin a fake relationship, which eventually morphs into real feelings for each other. Bright and Cameli share a lot of scenes, but there’s been speculation they’re feuding because the latter appeared to remove several Instagram posts with Bright.

The two actors are now trying to put a stop to all the rumors. The official Off Campus Instagram account shared a video featuring Bright and Cameli with the caption, “Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli send kisses from the set of Off Campus.”

In the video, the cast members excitedly looked into the camera, with Cameli saying, “We just wanted to say that we have been so overwhelmed by the response to the first season. You guys made it what it is, and we genuinely cannot thank you enough.”

Bright added that they’re back on set filming Off Campus season 2 and “cannot wait for you to see what’s coming.” She assured fans that “it’s gonna be worth the wait.” The video ended with Bright and Cameli blowing kisses to the fans watching.

While the actors didn’t directly address the rumors, the video seems like it was meant to show that they still get along and are having fun working on the show.

Belmont Cameli: “We just wanted to say that we have been so overwhelmed by the response to the first season. You guys made it what it is, and we genuinely cannot thank you enough.”

Ella Bright: “We’re back filming season 2 right now, and we cannot wait for you to see what’s coming. Trust us, it’s gonna be worth the wait. Bye!”

Off Campus is based on Elle Kennedy’s bestselling book series of the same name, which includes the novels The Deal, The Mistake, The Score and The Play, as well as the novella collection The Legacy. Kennedy has also written the spinoffs Briar U and Campus Diaries.

Five years after the final book, Prime Video debuted the TV adaptation of Off Campus, created by Louisa Levy, who serves as an executive producer with Gina Fattore, Silver Tree, Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, Neal Flaherty, James Seidman, and Leanna Billings. The series has been a hit with critics, who gave Off Campus a score of 92% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Aside from Bright and Cameli, the show also stars Mika Abdalla, Stephen Kalyn, Antonio Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks and Josh Heuston. Each book centers on a different relationship, with Hannah and Garrett serving as the protagonists in The Deal. The TV show will follow a similar format.

While Bright and Cameli will still appear on Off Campus going forward, they just won’t be the focal point anymore, as Allie and Dean take center stage during the second season.

Prime Video had already renewed Off Campus for season 2 several months before the first episode had even been released on the streaming platform. Filming got underway a few months ago, with India Fowler, Phillipa Soo and Shay Rudolph joining the cast. With production still ongoing, a premiere date has not been announced yet.
