As you travel through the ACE Chemicals plant in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, you can collect a series of WayneTech caches. Each of these hidden treasure chests contains a single chip, which you can eventually put towards various gadget upgrades and unlocks when you return to your Batcave’s workbench.

WayneTech Cache #1
In the room where you have to glide across the pool of toxic waste:
- Before heading across, face away from the gap and grapple up to the higher ledge.
- Follow the yellow arrows painted on the wall, gliding across a smaller pool of sludge, and find the first WayneTech chest in a small back room here.
WayneTech Cache #2
In the next room with the hanging chemical vats:
- Grapple up to one of the swirling vats and jump down onto the pipe pictured above.
- Follow the pipe until you find a vent leaking out toxic waste. Have Gordon shoot it to block the flow.
- Jump onto the platform behind the pipe, head through the crawlspace, and find the WayneTech cache on the other side.
WayneTech Cache #3
In the room with the giant fan:
- Use the fan to glide up to the platform, then shoot or Batarang the button to shut off the air flow.
- Jump down to the bottom of the room to grab the WayneTech cache.
- Press the red button to reactivate the fan and glide back up to reach the next area.
WayneTech Cache #4
This chest is found in the room with the giant vat of purple goo. Just head to this back corner to find it.
WayneTech Cache #5
While chasing Red Hood One:
- Climb this ladder and use Batman’s Batclaw to pull the panel out of the wall.
- Head through the newly revealed opening to find the final WayneTech cache.
With that, you’ve found all five WayneTech caches at ACE Chemicals, and gotten five new chips to boot: head back to the Batcave whenever you’re ready to spend those on gadget updates. Don’t worry if you miss one on the first go-around, as you can always replay the mission to pick up whatever you may have left behind in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.
