In the years since Cyberpunk 2077 was released, the game has been discounted at various times, as well as coming to subscription services and new platforms. It came to PS Plus Extra earlier this year, and its Ultimate Edition was a part of the Nintendo Switch 2’s launch titles in June. Now, it’s on sale again, but it’s such a great deal, we did a double-take after seeing the final price.

As part of the Nintendo Holiday Sale, there are a ton of games getting heavy discounts over the next few days. If you’re hunting for some digital versions of popular games, no matter the genre, then there’s plenty to choose from. Some discounts we’ve seen run as deep as 90% off, while others drop a baseline $10 or so from their standard price. One of the most eye-catching deals, however, is for Cyberpunk 2077, which has a whopping 75% discount right now.

Cyberpunk 2077 Is Stupidly Cheap On Switch 2 Right Now

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is normally $69.99 on Switch 2, but with the 75% discount, the game is just over $17. Yes, you read that right: $17 for Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on Switch 2, a game that came out just six months ago. That’s a stupidly good deal for one of the best RPGs to release in the past five years.

The Ultimate Edition of Cyberpunk 2077 includes the base game along with all updates and free DLC, and also includes Phantom Liberty, the massive DLC expansion starring Idris Elba. Considering all the content, it’s easily worth the standard MSRP, but with this heavy discount, it’s practically a steal. Nintendo’s Holiday Sale lasts until January 4, 2026, so you have a bit of time to take advantge of the deal.

No, The Discount Is Not An Error

Look, we thought the new price might be an error on Nintendo’s part, but it doesn’t appear that way. Despite having various discounts over the years, this new one for Cyberpunk 2077 is particularly surprising because it’s on Switch 2. The game has only been on Nintendo’s new console for a few months, so we were thrown off by its deep discount this soon. $17 just sounded too good to be true.

That being said, Cyberpunk 2077 is a 5-year-old game at this point, so even though it’s relatively new to Switch 2, folks have had ample opportunities to play it already. If you haven’t tried it out before, or if you were waiting for a sale to grab it for the Nintendo Switch 2, then this is the perfect chance. Discounts don’t get much better than this one.
