Chelsea winger Estevao has broken his silence over the lack of regular playing time under manager Xabi Alonso this season.
Estevao is one of the best young forwards in world football, but he has been starved of playing time under Alonso in the new campaign.
Alonso has played with a 3-4-2-1 system after taking charge of the Blues, and he has preferred Pedro Neto over Estevao at right wing-back.
That may not change anytime soon, particularly with Neto having recently put pen to paper on a new long-term contract at the Blues.
Estevao recently linked up with Brazil for upcoming internationals and when asked about his situation at Chelsea, he told reporters:
“I think every coach has their own way of playing. Of course, we work every day, I give my best every day, and that’s what I do.”
Estevao will have to earn his position at the Blues. He could get more starts with the hectic schedule after the ongoing international break.
