Gujarat Giants registered a nail-biting five-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025. After winning the toss, Gujarat opted to field first, allowing Delhi to set the pace with the bat. Meg Lanning and Shafali Verma provided a strong foundation with an aggressive opening partnership. However, Gujarat’s bowlers made a strong comeback in the middle overs, restricting Delhi to 177/5. In response, Gujarat chased down the target in a tense finish, with Harleen Deol playing a match-winning knock. The game saw momentum shift multiple times, keeping fans on the edge of their seats. Ultimately, Gujarat secured victory with three balls to spare, capping off an unforgettable contest.
