Hogwarts Legacy is something of an enigma, even to this day. Despite launching amidst high levels of controversy due to its links to Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, the RPG still went on to become the best-selling game of 2023. However, since its launch, it has been criticized for its lack of post-game content, with Avalanche Software only providing one brief update dedicated solely to cosmetics. That being said, a sequel is in development, and with many expecting it to launch in late 2027, early 2028, Hogwarts Legacy 2 may just make up for any previous setbacks.

New Hogwarts Legacy Content? No Problem

However, as with any RPG that is available on PC, it is never long before the modding community comes together to provide the content that its developers have yet to provide. That is the case for Hogwarts Legacy as, since its launch, it has been the subject of thousands of mods, providing quality-of-life upgrades, cosmetics, story content, and more.

That is the case for the Wizarding Academy RP mod over on Curse Forge. Courtesy of user Vehem_, this Hogwarts Legacy mod is designed to work alongside multiple mods in order to create the ultimate RPG experience for Harry Potter fans.

Available to download in its beta phase, Wizarding Academy RP “is part of a Roleplay framework and can only be used with the whole framework (including Hogwarp mod used to play in multiplayer)”, but if you meet all of the requirements, you will be able to enjoy this custom roleplay mod which turns Hogwarts Legacy into “a living, multiplayer roleplay world where you are no longer just following a story — you are creating your own.”

Whilst Hogwarts Legacy may be a single-player experience, this mod will make it so that you will no longer have to attend Hogwarts alone. As such, players will be able to share the castle and its grounds with fellow players, even attend classes, attend events, build friendships or rivalries, and experience the ultimate Hogwarts adventure.

It Is An Exciting Time For Fans

Not only that, but Wizarding Academy RP launches alongside brand-new spells, areas, roles (professor, student, auror…), and much more, and with over 2,000 downloads already under its belt, it is safe to say that Hogwarts Legacy fans are using any opportunity to really delve into the RPG elements of the beloved game.

Meanwhile, it is an exciting time for Harry Potter fans as, not only can they look forward to the launch of Hogwarts Legacy 2, but the Harry Potter television series courtesy of HBO is also set to launch this December, reimagining the hit movies and book series with never-before-seen content.
