Where To Find Geiger Counters

Arc Raiders features a whole lot of resources that you’ll have to track down. Whether you’re seeking them for an expedition project, upgrading a workbench, or any number of other reasons, knowing the best place to find each item can speed up your grind quite a bit. Luckily, for Geiger Counters, there’s only one map you’ll need to visit — though that may not improve your chances of finding one as much as you’d expect.

Geiger Counters only spawn on Stella Montis, so you’ll be headed there on your search for this epic-rarity item. This is a dangerous map that is known for backstabbing and shootouts, so go in prepared. Below, we’ll tell you the best spot on the map to get Geiger Counters.

Where To Get Geiger Counters In Arc Raiders

Geiger Counters only spawn on Stella Montis. This item can spawn anywhere on the map, but you’ll encounter it more often while searching in locations marked as “Exodus.” Because these spots contain a variety of high-value, epic-rarity items (which also include useful resources like Exodus Modules and Magnetic Accelerators), they’re frequently crowded with other players, meaning you may have to fight for the loot if your lobbies don’t lean toward friendliness.

The best spot on Stella Montis to farm for Geiger Counters is Assembly (which also includes Assembly Workshops). This POI in the upper left corner of the map has a ton of tool boxes, cabinets, and more that have a reasonable chance of dropping a Geiger Counter. If your only goal is to locate Geiger Counters, you can sweep this POI, then use the nearby raider hatch (if you have a key for it) to reset quickly, allowing you to efficiently jump back in and try again.

You can also try the Business Center on the other side of the map, but since we’ve had a bit less luck there due to a lower number of containers, it’s best to only search there if you’re already in the area for some reason. Meanwhile, even though Medical Research isn’t listed as an Exodus location, we’ve had a surprisingly high number of Geiger Counters show up there. Your mileage may vary.
