Week 3 Head of Household (HOH) Results (SPOILERS)

Another week of Big Brother down, another week for the power to game hands with the new Head of Household coming to power. While there’s only been two weeks of Big Brother 28 thus far, the game has gotten underway faster than it has in years. After the first twist of a trio of reality TV stars, including BB 26’s Angela Murray and Survivor’s Rick Devens and Dee Valladares, joining the game, things got underway quickly. The first week of gameplay was controlled by HOH Dee, who sought to get rid of a houseguest with the least amount of damage.

After Ashley’s eviction, the power shifted, but only slightly as Devens took over as the reigning HOH for Big Brother 28’s second week of gameplay. While Devens had an explosive nomination ceremony, calling out Rome for his hierarchy of houseguests, the rest of the week played out in the HOH’s favor. After nominating Melody, Lyric, and Jason, Devens won the Power of Veto and chose to take Lyric off the nomination block, replacing him with Rome. The Blockbuster competition saw the trio compete for their last chance to save themselves, and Jason was able to win his safety this week.

With the vote left to Melody and Rome, Devens achieved his goal of taking out the leader from the other side of the house when Rome was evicted by a 12-1 vote. Now, with Devens unable to play, the rest of the houseguests got the chance to fight for the power in the Head of Household competition. While the competition itself won’t air until Big Brother’s Sunday episode, the BB live feeds have revealed who the new HOH is, and things are about to be shaken up in the game with an exciting new houseguest getting the show’s ultimate power.

Kamu Won Big Brother 28 Week 3’s Head Of Household Competition

While Big Brother doesn’t always find the house quite so split, BB 28’s split house will continue on for another week with Kamu in power. After two weeks of veteran energy in the HOH room with reality TV royalty getting to orchestrate what happens in the game, something new may finally take shape as the game breaks open. With Rome having been evicted, there’s a lot of space for the game to shift and change. New alliances could take shape over the course of the week, leaving the veterans without power and having to scramble for their own safety.

Though it’s not clear yet who Kamu will put on the nomination block, that decision will have to be made fairly quickly, as nominations happen less than 24 hours after the HOH competition. The pressure of being HOH may not suit all the houseguests, but regardless of the pains that come with it, the power of being in control is the best way to make moves in the house. With Kamu now in power, it’s possible that Big Brother could look incredibly different in the coming days and throughout the rest of the week as new players experience the block.

Big Brother 28 may get shaken up once again with a new Head of Household running the show, and with the Power of Veto competition still to come, things could change several times before the next live eviction episode of the season.
