The 11th match of The Hundred  2025 between Southern Brave and Northern Superchargers ended in a thrilling finish that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Both teams fought hard with powerful batting and tight bowling. The game went right down to the last ball, creating a moment fans will not forget.

With 10 needed in the last 5 balls the tension was at its peak. Adil Rashid worked a single to put Graham Clark on strike. Clark then found a crucial boundary past short fine-leg but was stalled by two nerve-racking dot balls. Six were required from the final delivery, and Tymal Mills went for a back-of-the-hand slower ball.

Clark read it perfectly and launched it flat over long-on, sealing the win with a breathtaking six. The crowd fell silent as Clark erupted in celebration, fists pumping in triumph, while Mills sank to the turf in disbelief. The Brave, who had fought back brilliantly to take the match to the wire, saw their hopes of going top of the table vanish in the most dramatic fashion, suffering their first defeat of the season in a contest that will be remembered for its thrilling finish.

Mitchell Santner’s all-round show steers Northern Superchargers to sensational win

After Superchargers’ skipper Harry Brook won the toss and elected to bowl, his decision paid off early with their bowlers reducing the Southern Brave to just 18 runs with both openers back in the pavilion. However, a gritty 49 from James Coles and a brilliant 53 from Laurie Evans helped the Brave post a competitive total of 139 in 100 balls. Jacob Duffy was the pick of the bowlers for the Superchargers with three wickets, while Mitchell Santner added two.

Chasing a challenging target of 140, the Superchargers stumbled early, losing opener Dawid Malan for just one. While Zak Crawley and skipper Brook steadied the innings briefly, wickets fell at regular intervals. The match appeared to be slipping away until Clark, well-supported by Santner, held his nerve in a sensational finish guiding the team to a thrilling last-ball victory.
