Voyage Of The Unity Officially Releases October 2026

The Avatar franchise really has grown far beyond the original series, with adaptations in all kinds of mediums that have brought in thousands of fans who otherwise might not have engaged with it all. Though we should all forget about that movie, there’s still plenty of life left in the franchise yet, and new projects coming down the pipeline all the time.

Of those, TTRPGs appear to be particularly in vogue right now, with huge IPs like Fallout and Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere universe making the transition across to social in-person gaming. Now, Avatar is about to do something similar, and it’s difficult to understand why it hasn’t made the jump before.

Over on Game Nerdz, you should be able to find the product listing for the Avatar Legends RPG: Voyage of the Unity, from Beadle and Grimm’s. Currently available for pre-order, the project was originally launched via Kickstarter, and reached its funding goal in 30 minutes. The developer has focused on the overall RPG experience, rather than the addition of miniatures or additional physical elements, and it seems like one of the more interesting projects of its ilk.

In sharing a little about what fans can expect, the developer posted the following insight:

“Voyage of the Unity is an original, officially licensed adventure series and premium box set by Beadle & Grimm’s for Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game from Magpie Games. Set in the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender, the adventures in Voyage of the Unity expand the world of Avatar Legends by exploring the Four Nations during the Roku Era.

“Voyage of the Unity is a series of five linked adventures that take place both on the Unity, a mammoth seafaring research vessel built as a joint venture by the Four Nations, and at various ports of call around the world. These five adventures can be played individually, or as a campaign that takes the companions from complete unknowns on their first journey to respected members of the crew. Journeying across the Four Nations, the Unity offers players and GMs a unique frame for a campaign—a globetrotting set of adventures that showcase everything the Four Nations have to offer.”

The full list of included features in the retail edition is as follows:

  • 5 connected adventures
  • Guide to the Unity booklet
  • Avatar: Legends Quick-Start Rulebook
  • NEW Roku-Era World Map (poster-sized, printed on heavy high-quality paper)
  • All 7 saddle-stitched booklets and map are included in a PU leather slipcase

As mentioned earlier, the set isn’t out just yet, with an expected release date of October 31, 2026. Pre-orders are open now though, so it may well be worth acting soon if you do want to get in on the first production run.

That wasn’t the only exciting release for fans, as new animated feature film Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender premiered on Paramount+ on July 25, 2026. No news on what’s to come next for the franchise on that front, but it’s clear that it’s far from done.
