Looking for free stuff for kids to enjoy this summer? We’re sharing totally free things they can enjoy in the coming months, whether you’re looking for ways to beat the heat, snack on a free treat, or make the most of summer!
1. Score free pizza by reaching summer reading goals.

Register up to five children between 4 and 12 years old in grades pre-K to 6th grade. Your child will be able to use this free app throughout the summer to earn one free personal pan pizza each month by meeting parent-set reading goals – the first reward drops July 1st–15th!

2. Get a free book at Barnes & Noble just for reading.
Through August 31st, Barnes & Noble is hosting a Summer Reading Program, where kids in grades 1-6 can earn a completely FREE book by simply reading. 3. Take the whole family to Phoenix Theatres for FREE movies all summer long!
Phoenix Theatres is showing family-friendly movies for FREE at 10 AM every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning starting June 2nd. Doors open at 9 AM, and all age groups are welcome. Plus, they’ll have a special Kiddie Meal available!

4. Teens can work out for free at any Planet Fitness all summer long.

Teens ages 14–19 can sign up now to enjoy free gym access from June 1st through August 31st at any Planet Fitness location.
Whether teens are looking to stay active, train for a sport, or simply beat summer boredom, this is an easy way to work out all season long without spending a penny. Even better, parents can join their teens with a FREE day pass this year!
5. Kids can bowl free all summer long at an alley near you.

Kids can bowl FREE all summer long through the Kids Bowl Free Program! With the average game costing between $3.25 and $5 and the fact that kids can play up to 2 free games per day, this works out to at least a $400 value per kid. Awesome!
More than 1,300 bowling centers in the US and Canada offer Kids Bowl Free. Note that the age limit for the Kids Bowl Free program is set by participating bowling centers and may vary, and each bowling center sets its own start date for the program.

6. Head to a National Park and get free admission for the whole family.

The National Park Service often offers FREE entrance days to U.S. National Parks! This free entry provides a great opportunity to visit a park that normally charges a fee, such as Yellowstone National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, and more. This is not only a great freebie for kids, but for the whole family too!

7. Register kids for the free monthly workshops where they can make crafts.
The Home Depot and Lowe’s both host Free Kids Workshops every month. Pre-registration online is required.

8. Kids can enjoy free fishing events at Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s.

On June 13th & 14th and June 20th & 21st from 10 AM–2 PM local time, head to Cabela’s or Bass Pro Shops for their popular FREE Kids Fishing Event! This family-friendly event is packed with outdoor fun and hands-on activities designed to help little anglers learn the basics of fishing.

9. Kids 5 and under can build free LEGOs in July.
On Tuesday, July 14th at 9:15 AM local time, participating LEGO Stores nationwide will be hosting free LEGO Little Builder Classes! Designed for ages 2 to 5, each fun-filled class combines hands-on play with developmental skill-building.
Head this way to sign up for a spot at a participating location near you. But hurry, spots are filling up fast!
10. Grab a free Frazil slushie every Friday in June.

Free Frazil Friday has returned! Every single Friday in June, you can score a FREE small Frazil Slushie! To redeem the offer, all you will have to do is visit a participating convenience store, fill up a small-sized slushie, and bring it to the counter, where the cashier will ring it up for FREE! Limit 1 per person (or kiddo)! 😉

11. Grab a free meal for kids all summer long when you head out to eat.

Speaking of free food, numerous restaurants offer free meals for kids all year round! We’ve put in the research to help kids eat free or for super cheap while parents enjoy a break from meal planning, cooking, and cleaning up. 🙌🏻 It’s a win-win for everyone!

12. Gamers can enjoy free Roblox codes every month to upgrade their experience.

13. Head to Target for a LEGO x Disney event on June 14th.
On Sunday, June 14th, from 12 PM to 4 PM, many Target stores will be hosting a LEGO x Disney Target Store Event. While supplies last, you’ll be able to snag a free pair of LEGO Disney–inspired sunglasses and a LEGO activity booklet. Head to our Target store event to learn more!

14. Get a free one-year golf membership for kids until June 15th.

Through June 15th, or once 150,000 new Youth on Course memberships have been granted, score a free one-year membership to Youth on Course (limit one membership per customer). This membership provides kids with access to play golf for $5 or less at thousands of courses throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia.

15. Military or Veterans can score free park passes to SeaWorld for up to 3 guests.

Through June 17th, Military Veterans, retirees, honorably separated officers, and enlisted personnel can score up to 4 FREE tickets to select SeaWorld Parks for themselves and up to three guests through the Waves of Honor Program! This is the perfect opportunity to get kids out of the house this summer and have an unforgettable experience.

17. Your preschooler can visit Dollywood for free for a limited time.
