This cinnamon roll hack creates a stunning pull-apart cinnamon roll presentation using just two store-bought cans of cinnamon rolls.
Here’s a fun entertaining tip to try for a festive fall breakfast!
If you love gooey cinnamon rolls but don’t love the idea of unrolling, separating, and arranging every single roll, this cinnamon roll hack is for you! I tried baking two packages of Grands cinnamon rolls together without unrolling them at all, and it worked beautifully.
Instead of separating the individual rolls, simply place the cinnamon rolls from both packages whole and side-by-side in a baking pan. The rolls bake together into one big, pull-apart cinnamon roll loaf that is perfect for slicing and sharing. And yes, I tested this with the larger pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls, and they turned out delicious!

Hip Tip: Because the Grands cinnamon rolls are wider, I used a 1.5-quart casserole dish so the rolls had enough room to fit comfortably. If you’re using a regular batch of cinnamon rolls instead of the larger Grands, a traditional loaf pan should work perfectly!
Pull-Apart Cinnamon Roll Loaf
yield: 10 SERVINGS
prep time: 5 MINUTES
cook time: 35 MINUTES
total time: 40 MINUTES
Here’s how to create a pull apart loaf using two cans of store-bought cinnamon rolls.
1
Grease the pan and preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2
Open both packages of cinnamon rolls. Do not unroll or separate the rolls. Place all of the whole cinnamon rolls together in a baking pan. Arrange them snugly so they bake together. Set aside the frosting.
3
Optional Step: Add some heavy whipping cream and extra butter on the rolls.
4
Bake at 350°F for about 35 minutes, or until the center reaches an internal temperature of 190°F. (If it’s getting too brown, cover them with foil.) Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
5
Spread the frosting on top and add festive sprinkles if desired. To serve you can slice them or pull them apart. So yum!

My family loved this simple idea so much!
And let me just say, these pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls are DELICIOUS! They came out so soft, gooey, and yummy. I know this is more of a fun baking hack than an actual recipe, but it really does elevate a store-bought cinnamon roll big time! I highly recommend adding a little extra butter and a splash of whipping cream, too. Trust me, it makes them even more delicious! 😋
