All the details about this new character’s kit were compiled and shared on the Honey Hunter World database.

The New Character Specializes In Supporting Super Break DMG

As was already confirmed by developer HoYoverse, The Dahlia, otherwise known as Constance in Honkai: Star Rail, is a 5-star Fire character on the Path of the Nihility. According to the new leaks, The Dahlia’s Basic Attack deals Fire DMG to a single target enemy. Her leaked Skill sees her deploy a Zone for three turns, with its duration decreasing by 1 at the start of each of her turns.

After deploying the Zone, The Dahlia deals Fire DMG equal to a percentage of her ATK to a designated target and adjacent enemies. While this Zone is active, all allies’ Weakness Break Efficiency is increased by 50%, and Tougness Reduction taken by enemies that aren’t Weakness Broken can be converted into Super Break DMG.

The leak shows that The Dahlia’s Ultimate inflicts Wilt on all enemies for four turns. Then, she deals Fire DMG equal to a percentage of her ATK, which is distributed across all opponents. Furthermore, the Ultimate reduces DEF of targets in the Wilt state and applies Weakness of all Dance Partners Types to enemy targets.

For reference, this Dance Partner mechanic is described in her leaked Talent. When she enters combat, The Dahlia regenerates Energy and grants Dance Partner to herself and the teammate who triggered combat. When there is no other Dance Partner, it is assigned to the teammate with the highest Break Effect. After a Dance Partner attacks a Weakness Broken enemy, the Toughness Reduction from the attack is converted into an instance of Super Break DMG.

After an enemy is attacked by the other Dance Partner, The Dahlia launches a follow-up attack that deals five instances of Fire DMG equal to a percentage of her attack to one random enemy. After each instance of DMG dealt to a Weakness Broken enemy, the Toughness Reduction from this DMG is converted into Super Break DMG. This effect can only trigger once per turn. In team comps with Firefly in Honkai: Star Rail, it’s likely Firefly will always be the Dance Partner.

The leaks show that The Dahlia’s Technique has her deploy a special dimension that impedes overworld enemies from attacking for 20 seconds. If you enter combat with enemies inside the special dimension, The Dahlia deploys her Skill’s Zone, and converts the combat-triggering Toughness Reduction into an instance of Super Break DMG against enemies that are Weakness Broken.

The leaks highlight The Dahlia’s passive Traces. The first one sees that upon entering combat, all other characters’ Break Effect is increased equal to 24% of The Dahlia’s Break Effect, plus 50% for one turn. This effect triggers again, lasting three turns, when The Dahlia receives healing or a shield from a teammate, but can’t be triggered repeatedly within a single turn.

The second passive Trace grants one Skill Point recovery when The Dahlia uses her follow-up attack, an effect that can be triggered once for every two of her follow-up attacks used. Lastly, when an ally applies Weakness to an enemy, The Dahlia increases their SPD by 30% for two turns. When this effect is triggered by an ally Fire character, it also regenerates a set amount of Energy equal to 10% of Max Energy, capping at 50% of Max Energy. This effect can be triggered once for each character in each turn.

The Dahlia Will Become Indispensable For Firefly Teams

The New Character Synergizes Perfectly With The Super Break DPS

As you can comprehend from the kit, The Dahlia will serve as a support for Super Break DMG team comps, such as those led by Boothill and Rappa in Honkai: Star Rail. However, she will be at her best when paired up with Firefly. Not only is Firefly a more effective DPS, she is also a Fire character, so she’ll be able to extract every single buff from The Dahlia’s kit.

In fact, if the leaks are true and her kit remains unchanged, The Dahlia will become indispensable for Firefly team comps, as she’ll allow the Fire DPS to act more times and deal more DMG – while also helping her restore Energy for her Complete Combustion state.
