Let’s give a banana milk latte a protein boost!

If you’ve seen the viral banana milk latte floating around social media, you already know this drink looks dreamy. Creamy, lightly sweet, naturally flavored, and topped with cinnamon. It’s basically dessert in a glass. Banana and espresso go together nicely, and it’s a unique flavor combo I think you’ll enjoy too!

But we’re not just making a pretty latte today. We’re turning it into a protein-packed, breakfast-worthy, keep-you-full-for-hours kind of iced latte.

This latte blends vanilla protein powder, protein almond milk, real banana, a bold shot of espresso, and warm cinnamon into the most satisfying iced coffee upgrade. It tastes indulgent, yet it feels like a smoothie.

The best part is, this protein latte has 33 grams of protein, and it’s ridiculously easy to make in the blender.

Here are some other flavor variations to consider:

  • Chocolate Banana Mocha: Add 1 teaspoon cocoa powder.
  • Peanut Butter Banana Latte:  Blend in 1 tablespoon of peanut butter.
  • Caramelized Banana Version: Sauté banana slices in a pan for 2–3 minutes before blending for a deeper flavor.

If you are sick of your usual protein shake, try this!

I cannot get over how well banana and espresso go together. This is not overly sweet and just so simple with the creamy sweet banana. If you need it sweeter, go ahead and add your favorite sweetener, such as honey or maple syrup. If you have any vanilla syrup for coffee drinks, I bet that would taste great, too.
