Per Variety, as of Sunday morning, Supergirl is projected to conclude its sophomore weekend by hitting a cumulative global box office total of $100.5 million, comprising $58.5 million from the domestic box office and an additional $42 million from international markets. This sees it crossing the $100 million global milestone after just 10 days in theaters. However, this is more than triple the amount of time it took 2025’s Superman to hit that same milestone.
After opening on Wednesday, July 9 in international markets, Superman had hit $100 million globally by the end of its first Friday, after just three days in theaters. In fact, it made more than $100 million during its domestic debut alone, with its 3-day gross plus Thursday night previews coming out to a haul of $125 million in North America.
