ABC is moving forward with a new legal drama that’s described as a mash-up of Suits and John Grisham’s The Rainmaker.

Deadline reports that Joey Falco is creating Con Law for ABC. The series will center on a corporate attorney whose life is basically over when she’s wrongly found guilty of murdering her spouse. Years later, she’s finally exonerated and starts working at a defense firm, with the goal of protecting vulnerable individuals from powerful corporations.
