Steam Officially Makes 2 Games 100% Free To Keep If You Download Before April 20

The weekend is almost upon us and what better way to celebrate some free time than by diving into a brand-new game? Even more so, if that game just so happens to be completely free to download and play. That is the case for two underrated gems over on Steam which are now free to download for a limited time. So if you are on the lookout for a psychological horror or even an episodic horror, then you have come to the right place.

Steam Gamers Have 72 Hours To Grab These Freebies

The first game available to download for free for PC users is NineHells, a first-person psychological horror game with an unraveling mystery, impressive voice acting, and the feeling of experiencing a virtual haunted attraction. Developed by caffeineline, NineHells will see you take on the role of Davie, a man who must fight to remember his past, all whilst traveling through Hell itself. With the goal to “find out what in the ninehells is going on”, this non-linear mystery will keep you guessing up until the last moment. Featuring an old-school vibe inspired by early 2000s horror games, NineHells is free to download and keep until 20 April, so you had better hurry.

The second game up for grabs is Uncanny Tales: Cold Road, an episodic horror game where the real threat are humans, not the supernatural or monstrous beings. With each new episode offering an unsettling story inspired by real-life fears, players can expect a true-to-life experience.

Developed by VYASTUDIO, Uncanny Tales: Cold Road‘s first episode is set during the eve of New Year when a snowstorm stops you in your tracks. You will take on the role of a protagonist who is traveling home to visit her parents, but when the snowstorm causes her to lose control of her car and crash, she must leave her car and search for help, but luckily, she soon finds an isolated house home to a kind elderly woman. However, when our protagonist awakes to strange noises in the house, she soon realizes there is more to this house than she first thought. Uncanny Tales: Cold Road is now free to download and keep until 20 April.
