Dungeon Crawler Carl is heading for TV screens.

From the Universal Execs’ TV Adaptations panel at New York Comic Con, where ScreenRant‘s Jordan Williams was in attendance, updates were provided on Seth MacFarlane’s adaptation of the Dungeon Crawler Carl novels. Author Matt Dinniman confirms they haven’t cast anyone after Jeff for Dungeon Crawler Carl. Dinniman says the writers’ room is working heavily on the Dungeon Crawler Carl series right now. It is said they are currently in week 4 of 20 in the process of getting the adaptation’s script completed.

Kelsey Balance, EVP, Scripted Series, Universal Global Television, says they couldn’t imagine anyone else but Jeff Hays being cast for Princess Donut. Hays is known for being the audiobook narrator for the literary role-playing game Dungeon Crawler Carl, which has accumulated over 140 million listening hours on Audible.
