Of Salt And Sea Officially Announced

Game of Thrones and its assorted spin-offs are finally hitting their stride in a very big way. After the enormous success of the TV series and the subsequent success of shows like House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, GoT spin-off projects and media have begun expanding exponentially. From mobile games to full-blown RTS epics, there are a number of key Game of Thrones releases in the works that fans should absolutely be looking forward to.

Among all of the upcoming Game of Thrones projects is a key release that is getting a major new addition this month. Game of Thrones: Of Salt and Sea, alongside several other events, is set to expand upon a beloved GoT project that fans can check out right now. The best part is that this event is coming in just a few days, ensuring that fans won’t have to wait long in order to experience it for themselves.

Game of Thrones: Conquest is the quintessential free-to-play GoT mobile game. It allows players to conquer all of Westeros, recruit famous faces from the show, wage wars, train armies, and so much more. The game (which is developed by the same folks who made the equally popular Game of Thrones: Dragonfire) has managed to garner 10 million downloads and a 4.3-star rating on Google Play (4.4 stars on the App Store). For those who have yet to play Conquest, now may just be the best time to jump in, as it is getting a series of new events.

One of these events is the aforementioned Of Salt and Sea. As part of the game’s September arc, key House of the Dragon characters, Hugh Hammer and Alys Rivers, are being added to the game alongside several events that range from Gear Crafting to PvE and more. Of Salt and Sea, which is taking place between September 9, 2026, and September 11, 2026, is a Trinket Crafting event and is running alongside similar Game of Thrones events in other games. These are all of the September Arc events occurring in Game of Thrones: Conquest:

The Blood of the Dragon (Gear Crafting) – Sept 1st – Sept 5th
A Bond Never Forged (PVE) – Sept 1st – Sept 3rd
Of Fire and Blood (Arc Recipe Event: Part 1) – Sept 4th – Sept 6th
Of Salt and Sea (Trinket Crafting) – Sept 9th – Sept 11th
The Red Sowing (Trinket PVE) – Sept 9th – Sept 11th
Quenched Flames (PVE Rally) – Sept 14th – Sept 16th
A Tale of the Tavern (Arc Recipe Event: Part 2) – Sept 22nd – Sept 24th

In addition to the Arc events, players can also participate in several Power-Up, PvE, PvP, Crafting, and Special events throughout the month. They can also unlock the aforementioned House of the Dragon heroes, in addition to getting the Ever-Ready Warrior Dragon Gear Set and Dragonseed Gear Set. This is obviously just a small update to the overall game, but it is great to see it continue to get the support it deserves, and that its fans want to see. Game of Thrones: Conquest and Dragonfire will undoubtedly continue to be supported for the foreseeable future, alongside their open-world counterpart, Kingsroad, which is being massively overhauled in the coming months.
