An unreleased Nicolas Cage movie could cost Netflix $105 million.
The creators of the film Fortitude have filed a lawsuit against Netflix after a copy of the movie was allegedly stolen from the streaming company’s offices in Los Angeles. The movie’s writer and producer, Simon Afram, submitted the complaint in California federal court on Thursday. The lawsuit claims Netflix mishandled a screening copy of the World War II thriller, damaging Afram and his production company, Op-Fortitude’s ability to secure a distribution deal. He is suing for no less than $105 million in damages.
