Napoli have entered discussions with the representative of Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho over a summer transfer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Serie A giants are expected to make several additions to their squad during the summer transfer window. They recently signed Kevin De Bruyne on a free transfer and are eyeing more Premier League recruits.
Sancho has emerged as the next target for the Naples outfit, but a transfer could depend on whether the winger is ready to accept a significant paycut on his current £250,000 per week salary with the Red Devils.
Napoli’s highest earner at the moment is Victor Osimhen on £210,000 per week followed by Romelu Lukaku at £124,000 per week. The Italian giants are actively looking to offload Osimhen in the coming days.
Sancho may have to accept a 50 percent paycut for a transfer to materialise. Otherwise, United may have to finalise his loan departure on a salary share basis. Napoli would be open to such an agreement too.
