Footage from Michael Fassbender’s new sci-fi movie Hope reveals an alien attack in what is designed as a “thrilling theatrical experience.“

At CinemaCon 2026, where ScreenRant was in attendance, footage from Fassbender’s new film Hope was revealed. Read a description of the footage below:

Deserted streets. A cop car drives through them stops. A cop gets out and looks at a store. He walks in with a rifle. A car flips over on the street. Characters are seen preparing their guns in various scenes, such as in the street and in the woods. An alien is seen running down the street, then in the woods. An alien ship crashes down. An alien jumps onto a man riding a horse in the woods.
