Manchester United and Liverpool are among the clubs that are keen on signing Idrissa Gueye from Metz in the summer transfer window, according to reports. While Football Insider has claimed that Liverpool are keen on a summer deal for Gueye, The Sun has reported that Man Utd have joined the race for the 18-year-old Senegal international striker.

According to The Sun, Brighton and Hove Albion, Burnley and Borussia Dortmund are also interested in Gueye, who is valued at £15million by his French club Metz. Football Insider has credited Sunderland, West Ham United, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Hove Albion and Ipswich Town with interest in the 18-year-old striker.

Gueye joined Metz only in January 2025 after leaving Senegal Premier League club Génération Foot. The 18-year-old striker scored five goals and gave one assist in 20 appearances for Metz after joining them in the middle of last season.
