Man Utd to swap Alejandro Garnacho for 28-goal striker?

Osimhen to join United in a swap deal

Manchester United could negotiate a swap deal with Napoli to sign Victor Osimhen this summer, according to The Athletic.

The Red Devils are determined to bolster their strikeforce this summer and they have been linked with plenty of high-profile names.

However, there is no guarantee that they can afford most of them and The Athletic claim that a part-exchange deal could be an option.

Alejandro Garnacho was a top target for Napoli last summer and he could be used as a makeweight to land Osimhen from the Serie A outfit.

Osimhen has had a superb season on loan at Galatasaray. He has accumulated 28 goals in all competitions for the Turkish heavyweights.

The Nigerian has his sights on moving to the Premier League and would be tempted to join United regardless of their European football status.

United are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League unless they win the Europa League this term. Osimhen has no issues with that.
