United set for timely injury boost

Manchester United could be handed a double injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Everton on the road this weekend.

The Red Devils recently suffered a 1-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the English top-flight. They were guilty of missing clear-cut chances.

United will be aiming to make amends against the Toffees at Goodison Park and ahead of the game, they could receive a timely boost.

Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer missed the recent trip to London due to injuries, but they are expected to report for training this week.

Leny Yoro and Christian Eriksen were also ruled out due to illness. There is a possibility that the duo could also be available against the Toffees.

United have dropped to 15th in the league table. They have lost eight of the last 12 league games and the pressure is on manager Ruben Amorim.

Amorim needs to turnaround the club’s fortunes in the next few games or he could be dismissed by the owners before the end of the season.
