View Newcastle summer 2026 transfer targets
Manchester United are prepared to beat Newcastle United in the pursuit of Hoffenheim winger Bazoumana Toure this summer, according to BILD.
The Red Devils are focused on landing a specialist left winger in the next transfer window and they have now identified Toure as a realistic target.
The Ivorian only joined Hoffenheim from Hammarby last summer, but he had a brilliant debut season with 17 goal contributions in the Bundesliga.
He is primarily a left winger by trade and it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils can persuade Hoffenheim to part ways with his services.
There is currently no release clause in Toure’s contract at the German oufit, and it may take at least £43 million to persuade Hoffenheim into a deal.
United may not get a discount on the transfer fee, considering Brentford recently failed with a similar offer to land Said El-Mala from Koln.
Hoffenheim believe Toure is worth the same fee as the German.
