Man Utd to land new forward?

Manchester United are prepared to sign a new forward in January with Joshua Zirkzee poised to head for the exit door.

The Netherlands international does not feature in the long-term plans of manager Ruben Amorim, and has been linked with an exit for some time.

Roma are keen on landing him on loan with a conditional obligation to buy, and the Red Devils could give the green light in the middle of January.

Prior to that, the hierarchy want a replacement in the squad.

They were initially keen on landing Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth, but the Ghanaian has made the choice to join Manchester City next month.

The Red Devils have yet to find an alternative target. They could delay the departure of Zirkzee little further until they land a suitable replacement.

Zirkzee has already agreed personal terms with the Giallorossi. He is prepared to accept a pay-cut if he joins them on a permanent deal.
