Man Utd make third bid for Mbeumo

Manchester United have made a third bid to sign Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo this summer, according to journalist David Ornstein.

The Red Devils are expected to bolster their attack with multiple signings this summer. They have so far purchased Matheus Cunha, but talks are advancing for Mbeumo as well.

The Cameroon international has already given the green light for the transfer and Ornstein now reports that United have made a third bid of £65 million plus £5m in add-ons.

The proposal reportedly matches what Brentford have been looking for and it remains to be seen whether they will sanction the winger’s departure.

Mbeumo had a fantastic 2024/25 season at the west London outfit. He scored 20 goals and provided seven assists from 38 league matches.

The 25-year-old is ready for the next step in his career and has been convinced to join the Red Devils despite the lack of European football.

United are likely to pursue a new striker after Mbeumo’s likely arrival.
