View Man Utd transfer targets
Manchester United are planning one final signing before the transfer window closes on Tuesday night, according to The Telegraph.
The Red Devils have largely focused on strengthening their midfield this summer, and they have already signed Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans and Carlos Baleba.
The club are currently focused on doing more business, but The Telegraph claim that there may not be more than one signing before the transfer deadline on September 1.
A left-back is a priority position for the Mancunian giants, but manager Michael Carrick would ideally like a left-back who can also operate as a central defender.
As things stand, the club have no standout targets, and it remains to be seen whom the hierarchy will pursue with the deadline approaching fast.
United had a dismal start to the Premier League campaign with a 2-0 loss to newly promoted Hull City at the MKM Stadium last weekend.
They will be aiming to make amends when they host another newly promoted side in Ipswich Town at Old Trafford on Sunday.
