Hall to Man Utd on the cards?

Manchester United are exploring a move for Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall ahead of the new Premier League season.

The Red Devils are determined to bolster their left-back position, considering Luke Shaw does not have sufficient competition at the moment.

Patrick Dorgu arrived as a competitor for the Englishman, but he has struggled with his positioning and looks more adept as a winger.

Hence, United are open to landing a marquee solution for the left-back slot, given Shaw has entered the last year of his deal and can be injury-prone.

Hall has been on their radar for the last few months and there could be an opening now with Eddie Howe having left the managerial position.

The Magpies reportedly value the Englishman at around 60 million pounds, but United may seek to negotiate a fee of 50 million pounds.

For now, Newcastle are close to sanctioning the departure of midfielder Bruno Guimaraes to Arsenal for a package of 80 million pounds.
