Man Utd boss wants new contracts for experienced duo

Amorim on Casemiro & Maguire

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has said that he wants to keep Casemiro and Harry Maguire at the club next season.

The Red Devils have been in impressive form under Amorim’s guidance in recent weeks. They are presently only one point behind the top four after 10 games played.

Speaking in his pre-match presser, Amorim was asked several questions and one of those was focused on Casemiro whose contract expires next summer.

The Red Devils have the option to keep him for another 12 months. When pressed on this, Amorim said that he has the goal to continue with the Brazilian ace.

The Portuguese tactician added that he is really happy with Casemiro. The same is the case with Harry Maguire whose deal concludes in June next year.

Amorim said that the duo are ‘really important’ to his plans, but he has no idea whether the club will seek to extend their contracts beyond the current season.
