View Chelsea summer 2026 transfer targets
Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has emerged as a top target for Manchester City, according to The Athletic.
The Cityzens recently signed Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest to fill the void left by Bernardo Silva‘s departure.
They are now in the process of sorting out exits for Rodri and Tijjani Reijnders, and this will coincide with two arrivals.
Lille’s Ayyoub Bouaddi has emerged as a top target for the Cityzens, and talks are already underway with the French club to sign him.
Similarly, Fernandez is the other target for the Mancunian giants, and manager Enzo Maresca has personally requested the signing.
Chelsea are not pushing for a potential sale, but they would entertain Fernandez’s exit for a package of around £120 million.
Fernandez is set to return for Chelsea training this week, and his future could be fast-tracked by the Blues in the coming days.
Man City have the funds to afford his signature, but Chelsea may want to land a suitable replacement before sanctioning his sale.
