Liverpool make Barcola bid

Liverpool have made an opening bid of €120 million to purchase Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola this summer.

The Merseyside giants have been long-term admirers of the France international and were initially keen on landing him last summer.

They have continued to maintain an interest in the player and have now lodged a proposal worth €105m plus €15m in add-ons for his services.

PSG have maintained a not-for-sale stance in recent weeks, but may change that soon, given Barcola has declined a new contract beyond June 2028.

He has no desire to play second fiddle for a starting spot and prefers to join a club where he has the guarantee of starting week in and week out.

Liverpool have provided exactly that to the winger. Barcola could make the right wing position his own after Mohamed Salah‘s free transfer exit.

PSG are likely to turn down the official offer from the Reds as they are expected to hold out for at least €160m to part ways with Barcola.
