Liverpool have confirmed the signing of teenage winger Djylian N’Guessan from Saint-Etienne.
The Reds announced the deal on Friday, with the 18-year-old set to officially join the club in January.
Having made 13 senior appearances for Ligue 2 leaders Saint-Etienne, N’Guessan will spend the 2026-27 season on loan at Ligue 1 Brest.
Brest visit Le Havre on Saturday, but N’Guessan may have a more high-profile debut next week, with the Pirates set to welcome Paris Saint-Germain to the Stade Francis-Le Blé next Sunday.
N’Guessan made seven appearances for France at last year’s Under-20 World Cup. He scored four goals at the 2025 Under-17 European Championship, earning a place in the Team of the Tournament as France lost the final to Portugal.
