Juventus are prepared to offer former Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz in a player-plus-cash deal to sign Rasmus Hojlund this summer, according to Tuttosport.
Hojlund has had a tough second season with the Red Devils. He has been poor in the Premier League and has netted only three goals thus far.
United are actively looking for a marquee replacement and reports have claimed that they have opened talks with Victor Osimhen this week.
It is now reported that the Bianconeri are long-term admirers of Hojlund and they were initially interested in signing him from Atalanta in 2023.
United won the race for his signature back then but the Bianconeri are ready to try again this year. They will propose a part-exchange deal.
Luiz has had a tough time since his move from Villa to Turin. Juventus want to include him as a makeweight to land Hojlund this summer.
United value Hojlund in the region of £51 million. The Bianconeri could seek to lower the price to £20m with Luiz moving to Old Trafford.
