The unexpected crossover instantly went viral across social media platforms, leaving both cricket and wrestling fans stunned.

In the now widely-shared clip, Drew McIntyre was seen performing gym exercises while sporting the Rajasthan Royals jersey featuring Suryavanshi’s name instead of his own. While McIntyre has worn cricket jerseys before during training sessions, fans were surprised to see him specifically choosing Suryavanshi’s shirt. Suryavanshi has emerged as one of the biggest stars of IPL 2026 and currently leading the run-charts in the tournament. The young opener has piled up 680 runs this season and has played a massive role in Rajasthan Royals success.

Alongside him, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel have formed the backbone of Rajasthan’s batting lineup throughout the campaign. The teenager, however, heads into the Eliminator after a rare failure in RR’s final league-stage game against the Mumbai Indians (MI).
